    Hello,

I tried changing the settings, but no luck.
    Code:
    overwriteArg     = enableGPUAcceleration=true
    Code:
    experimental-strictdrawordering = true
You think that changing the AMD graphic card to a NVIDIA GT210 would solve the problem ?

    Thank You.

Have you tried to set the parameter embed=false ? This forces the plugin to play the video in a separate window.

You should also verify, that pipelight is up to date by issuing (inside the chroot):

      Code:
      apt-get update
      apt-get upgrade

The NVIDIA GT210 is supported, but it took some configuration effort to get the sound over hdmi.

      Kind Regards

        Hello RealQuick,

Yes I tried that as well, the embed=false and the plugin does open a new window, but the same error.

I did the following, also without luck, still the same error in pipelight (I hope this is the way to do the update inside the chroot ?):
        Code:
        root@ReelBox:~# schroot
        (default)root@ReelBox:~# apt-get update
        (default)root@ReelBox:~# apt-get upgrade
Concerning the NVIDIA GT210, I only use the VGA/DVI output to connect to the beamer. I will not use the HDMI.
Is installation on the reelbox straightforward in that case ?

Attached also the output of the system-check, maybe this gives some information. There are some failure messages.

        Code:
        (default)reel@ReelBox:~$ pipelight-plugin --system-check
        Thank you

I assume that you need to run the test the same way as you start firefox in the schroot. The plugin needs a way to output to the x-window.
The failure concerning the missing libnetapi.so can be ignored.

I have tested just the hdmi output with GT210. I would expect, that the vga output works out of the box, if the necessary nvidia drivers have been installed.
I remember, that the vga output is only with a flat ribbon cable to a vga connector.

          Kind regards

No luck sofar, still Netflix does not work.

I also tried to install a new ASUS NVIDIA GT210, but then the reelbox only boots to a console window. No KDE desktop.

              Hi its_johan,
in case X server does not start please check the X server error log file /var/log/Xorg.0.log . Could be that there also is a file with a 1 instead of a 0.

              regards,

                    Hello,

Thank you for the feedback, In the meantime I have removed the NDIVIA GT210 again. But I can put it back. I did find the following file with error messages refereeing to the NDVIA GT210. Maybe you see something ?

                      Hi its_johan,
I would have expected to see an error message in the file marked by (EE). But there is none. Even in case no valid configuration / combination of parameters are found the error message should have been more explicit.
How does your configuration for X look like ?

                      regards,
